About ClubNat

After enjoying a skinny dip in Spain, my husband and I wanted to continue our holiday fun back home in the UK. We didn't and still don't consider ourselves naturists but the only place to enjoy a skinny dip or a nude sauna was at a naturist club. We tried a few different clubs but everywhere we went there were always significantly more men than women. This imbalance made me quite uncomfortable. I managed to have a chat with the few women who did attend these clubs and some were not in the slightest bit bothered by the imbalance but the majority felt as uncomfortable as I did. In general everyone said it was something you have to put up with and accept if you want to enjoy a skinny dip.

We raised the subject on a couple of naturist web forums and were shot down in flames. It was the considered opinion of all on these forums that women shouldn't be pandered to. If they were too shy to give naturism a go at one of these (male dominated) clubs then that was their problem.

When we then raised the idea of ClubNat (a women's only club) we were ... well the insults and threats are available online for everyone to see.

At ClubNat we feel it is unfair to expect any woman to take her first tentative steps into naturism in a male dominated setting and as such we officially inaugurated the club in January 2009. Since that date we have seen many first time naturists trying a nude sauna or a skinny dip and it is out intention, at ClubNat, to continue to put the needs of the woman first.

Over the past 2 years we have had many messages of support from women all over the country. Many live too far away to attend one of our ClubNat venues in Wiltshire but this support has been the main driving force behind us starting the ClubNat Sister programme. This will allow any woman any where in the UK to set up a ClubNat Sister venue.

Over the next few years we will do all we can to support anyone wanting to start a ClubNat Sister venue. We do this simply because it's such fun going for a skinny dip or a nude sauna and in these uncertain times we all need a moment away from the rush of life to relax and enjoy ourselves.
