Swindon Health Hydro Update

We have now booked our first two venues in the Swindon Health Hydro so jot the following dates down in your diary:

• Saturday, 4th September 2010
• Saturday, 2nd October 2010

We are only hiring the Turkish Baths which means we have to limit the age to 16+ however, once we have enough interest from members in the Swindon area we will look to add a swimming pool to the venue and / or extend the session to two hours. There will be no age restriction on the swimming pool but all under 8’s will have to be accompanied by an adult 18+.

So ... if you live in the Swindon area and are not already a member of ClubNat, get in touch with the Club Secretary for details on how to join.

Swindon Update

We have been in discussion with the management of the Health Hydro in Swindon to try and arrange a Sunday afternoon/ evening venue at their facilities. Unfortunately the facilities undergo a deep clean on a Sunday, after they close to the public, so our only option is to meet on a Saturday.

We have now requested a Saturday booking for September and October 2010 and will post an update here and in the venue calendar once we receive confirmation.

ClubNat Expanding into Swindon

After quite a bit of interest from women in the Swindon area the ClubNat committee are currently in discussion with the Health Hydro in Swindon to start hiring their facilities.

We are initially intending to hire just the Turkish baths for an hour:

• Two steam rooms
• Spa pool
• Cold plunge pool
• Three inter-connecting hot rooms consisting of:
  • tepidarium (hot)
  • caldarium (hotter)
  • sudatorium (hottest)
• Large rest area
• Showers

As membership numbers increase we will be adding the swimming pool to the venue and / or extending the sessions to two hours.
